We came here for an after wedding recovery party for lunch and an ongoing party. We had lunch, and I had the satay chicken pizza, which was very yummy and fresh. The huntly hotel has loads of seating inside and out. There is a kids' play room with multiple jumping castles. The hotel has the usual fit out expected Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible. I also had a lovely coffee, which was smooth and rich. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend the Huntly Hotel for lunch, dinner, a group booking, or even just a date. They had a huge like smoker, BBQ, which I can easily imagine there would be cook up days and events. Hope you enjoy a nice meal or gathering here as much as we did.

A really lovely place, well presented with a good menu. Kids playroom is a great plus too. Outdoor area is huge and looks like it would have a great night-time vibe. Would love to see that smoker getting used, but even more would love a little bit of a wider selection in beer available. On tap is your standard Carlton Draught/Dry, Bulmers, Great Nothing and Fat Yuck. Most I saw in the fridges were a couple of Cooper's Sparkling. Then again, they know their clientele better than I do, so maybe the punters are happy with bottom shelf beer. They seem to run a courtesy shuttle which is good too. Overall, well worth a visit.

Update; Had the Bangers and mash since the review below and it was very delicious! The star attraction here would have to be the venue. After driving past the Huntly Hotel hundreds of times, to and from Bendigo, today was the first time we stopped. Tuesday’s steak night! I ordered the steak, and it was cooked just the way I ordered. It also came with a selection of vegetables or alternatively, salad. Chips too. Worth mentioning, there is also a seniors, discounted, selection on the menu. We’re gonna try the good old-fashioned bangers and mash next time. The pub seemed very popular with families the night we were there. The staff were efficient and took our orders quickly. For newbies like us, we were unaware of a couple of things like you can’t order and pay for your meals and drinks at the same register. We did get the vibe ‘we should of already known this’. The meals arrived reasonably promptly, however before they did, we had enough time to go and explore this amazing venue. There is something interesting, and or quirky around every corner. Even a play space for the kids that was proving very popular on the night we were there. The meal itself hit the spot. It was a good honest pub steak at a fair price. You can eat inside or out. On a table for 2 or in one of the large spaces for 102. The Huntly Hotel has cleverly crafted their many spaces into various welcoming zones. Well worth a visit.

Look I had a bad night there on my 1st try, but I don't just judge on one occasion. second chance was worth it. Had multiple roasts of the day, rissotto lamb fry and bacon. Good quality and price.

We received the most exceptional service at this Pub. Dealing with Mick over the phone, numerous times, he was courteous, friendly, and nothing was too much of a problem. The service was speedy, both drinks and ordering of meals, and the time it took to bring the meals out was amazingly quick from when we ordered. The menu is extensive with plenty of options. Sounds like they have plans to extend the business further. Huntly is very fortunate to have such a great local.

We’ve been to the Huntly Hotel a number of times and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is great, the staff are always friendly, and the service is excellent. The food comes out quickly and is always a good, hearty pub meal. Very family friendly. The kids love the jumping castle, and we love that we can keep an eye on them on the TV monitor in the main room. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed family meal when you want something casual but still great quality. Highly recommend!
